  • 1 medium white onion, diced
  • 30grams butter
  • 450grams peas, frozen or garden peas
  • 1tablespoons canola oil
  • 1teaspoons mint, diced
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Description

A very simple side dish that is a great compliment to many a main meal.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat up a non-stick pot to a medium heat with the canola oil. Fry the pancetta for 2 minutes until it starts to turn brown.

Step 2 of 3

Now add the diced onion and butter and fry for a further 2 minutes while mixing. Add the peas and mint and fry for a further 3 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Remove from the heat and use salt and pepper to taste.
