- 1teaspoons mixed spice
- 2 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract
- 250grams processed bran
- 35grams honey
- 400grams rolled oats
- milk (or greek-style yoghurt, to serve)
- 50grams sunflower seeds
- 35grams brown sugar
- 50grams coconut oil, melted
- 1/2teaspoons salt
- 375grams mixed nuts and fruit
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 160°C. Combine oats and bran in a bowl. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together oil, honey, sugar, vanilla, spice and salt. Pour mixture evenly over oat and bran mix and gently toss through, using a spoon, until coated.
Step 3 of 4
Spread mixture evenly out in baking tray. Bake for 40 minutes or until crisp and golden, stirring occasionally to evenly toast.
Step 4 of 4
Remove from oven and cool. Add mixed nuts and fruit and sunflower seeds. Serve with milk or Greek-style yoghurt.
