- 2teaspoons rapeseed oil
- 500grams plant based mince
- 1 large white onion, peeled and diced
- 1 large carrot, peeled and diced
- 5 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
- 800grams passata tomato
- 1tablespoons dried mixed herbs
- 450grams vegan spagetti
- 1 medium leek, washed and sliced
Description
A classic Italian dish with a twist.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Dice the onions, leek, carrot and garlic. Add the oil to a pan on medium to high heat. Add the plant based mince to the pan and break up and spread evenly for 15 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Add the vegetables and herbs and fry for a further 5 minutes while mixing. Add the passata to the pan also with the mix and turn to a low heat for 10-15 minutes stirring constantly.
Step 3 of 3
Add the pasta to another pan of boiling salted water and ensure all pasta eventually is under water for 8-10 minutes. Once the pasta is soft, remove from pans and serve with the bolognese.
