  • 1tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced

Description

Elevate a humble packet of ramen noodles with this tasty hack. Soy, rice wine vinegar, garlic and sesame seeds give this dish hero status in 10 minutes.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook noodles, reserving flavour sachets, in a small saucepan of boiling water for 3 minutes or until just tender. Drain.

Step 2 of 3

Combine soy, vinegar, garlic, sesame seeds and reserved sachets in a large bowl.

Step 3 of 3

Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat for 1 minute or until oil is hot and just starts to smoke. Carefully pour hot oil over soy mixture and stir to combine. Add noodles and three-quarters of the onion, then stir to coat. Serve topped with remaining onion.
