- 100grams Woolworths meringue kisses
- 1 cup white chocolate melts
- 1/3 cup mini baked pretzels
- 2tablespoons milk chocolate M&M’s®
- 1tablespoons milk chocolate mini M&M’s®
- 1/4 cup Woolworths maple-flavoured cashews
Description
These cute and crunchy reindeer munch wreaths are fun little festive gifts that are easy to make and easy on the wallet.
Instruction tip
Storing tip:These are delicate, so a small, shallow food-safe box is ideal. Alternatively, they would also make beautiful place settings for a Christmas lunch or dinner. If you want to use them for this purpose, simply store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Line a large baking tray or chopping board with baking paper to use as a work surface. Using a mixture of small and medium meringues, arrange 5 in a wreath shape on the work surface. Repeat with remaining meringues to form a total of 6 wreath shapes.
Step 2 of 4
Melt half of the chocolate melts in a small bowl following packet instructions. Working with 1 wreath arrangement at a time and trying to keep the arrangement shape intact, dip the side of 1 meringue into the chocolate and then wedge into the side of the meringue it sits next to, holding them together gently for 1 minute to help set the chocolate. Repeat to build 1 wreath. Repeat with remaining meringues and melted chocolate, re-melting chocolate if necessary, to build 6 wreaths. Set aside for 5 minutes to allow wreaths to set completely.
Step 3 of 4
Break half of the pretzels in half. Melt remaining chocolate, including any leftover from step 2, and use to attach M&M’s®, cashews and pretzels.
Step 4 of 4
Place the remaining chocolate in a piping bag, remelting chocolate if necessary. Using scissors, make a very small cut at the tip. Drizzle melted chocolate over wreaths. Set aside for 5 minutes to set.
