  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate melts
  • 310grams Woolworths The king of chunky chocolate chip cookies
  • 6 paddle pop sticks
  • 1/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread

Description

A playful twist on a classic, these chocolate-chip cookie pops are easy to make, delicious and will certainly delight as a DIY festive gift.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Melt chocolate melts following packet instructions. With 1 cookie facing you, flat-side up, spoon 1/2 tsp melted chocolate at the base of the cookie (at 6 o’clock position) and spread up towards the centre to make a 3cm-long line. Place a stick on the chocolate and press down to attach. Smooth out the chocolate on the sides slightly. Repeat with 5 more cookies. Set aside for 2-3 minutes to set.

Cover cookies around the stick with spread, ensuring that you don’t spread over the stick.

Step 3 of 3

Reheat melts, if necessary, following packet instructions. Working with 1 cookie at a time, spoon 1/2 tsp melted chocolate over the part of the stick attached to the cookie. Top with a remaining cookie, pressing down gently all over to attach. Using a clean finger tip, smooth out melted chocolate at the base. Set aside for 5 minutes to set. Repeat with remaining melted chocolate and cookies.
