- 560grams Woolworths COOK Chinese BBQ style pork with char siu sauce
- 1 1/2tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 free range eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 Odd Bunch carrots, peeled, thinly sliced diagonally
- 200grams Green beans, trimmed, halved diagonally
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4centimeters ginger, finely grated
- 450grams microwave long-grain rice
- 1tablespoons salt-reduced soy sauce
- 4 spring onions, thinly sliced
Description
On the table in 15 minutes, this flavour-packed Chinese barbecue pork fried rice will truly hit the spot. Whip up this quick char siu pork bowl for dinner.
Instruction tip
Tip:To help the carrots and beans cook, add a tablespoon or two of water to the pan to steam the veggies.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Heat pork in microwave following packet instructions. Remove pork from bag, discarding liquid, and transfer to a bowl. Using 2 forks, roughly shred pork. Stir in char siu sauce from packet.

Meanwhile, heat 2 tsp oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Swirl to coat. Add egg and swirl to coat. Cook for 1 minute or until just set. Transfer to a board and roll up. Stand for 1 minute, then thinly slice.
Step 3 of 4
Heat remaining oil in wok or pan. Stir-fry carrot, beans, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add rice, soy and half of the onion, then stir-fry for 1 minute or
until rice is heated through. Remove pan from heat.
Step 4 of 4
Stir in shredded pork. Spoon fried rice into bowls. Top with egg and remaining onion.
