- 1 1/2 cup rice (measured uncooked)
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 1 brown onion (finely sliced)
- 185grams ayam malaysian nasi goreng rice paste
- 250grams chinese style pork (char siu)
- 125grams bean sprouts
- 4 spring onions
- 4tablespoons kecap manis
Description
Beautiful nasi goreng. Pleasantly spicy, totally delicious and easy to put together.

Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook and then chill rice in the fridge.
Step 2 of 4
Add oil to wok. Sweat onions until soft but not brown.
Step 3 of 4
Add entire jar of nasi paste to the wok, followed by char siu, bean sprouts and spring onions. Toss until heated through (char sui from the deli is already cooked).
Step 4 of 4
Add cooled rice followed by kecap manis and stir through. Serve with a generous sprinkle of fried shallots.
