  • 400grams green beans, trimmed and cut in half
  • 2tablespoons canola oil
  • 300grams pork mince
  • 4tablespoons dark soy sauce, divided
  • 1tablespoons rice wine vinegar, peeled and minced
  • 2teaspoons honey, runny
  • 4 medium spring onions, divided, sliced
  • 1 medium red chilli, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 5centimeters ginger, peeled and grated
  • 200grams rice noodles
  • 1tablespoons toasted sesame oil

Description

Fragrant minced pork and crisp green beans make for a different take on a quick midweek stir fry.
Instruction tip
This dish is also delicious with a fried egg on top.

Method

Step 1 of 4

In a large wok over a medium high heat, heat half the oil and cook the pork mince for 3-4 minutes, breaking up with a spoon. Pour over half the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and honey and cook for 30 seconds, remove from the wok and set aside on a plate.

Step 2 of 4

Add the remaining oil to the pan and cook half the spring onions, garlic, ginger and red chilli for 2 minutes then add the chopped green beans and cook for 2 more minutes.

Step 3 of 4

Return the pork mince to the pan and add the noodles and remaining soy sauce and cook for 2 minutes to heat through.

Step 4 of 4

Stir in the toasted sesame oil just before serving and top with the rest of the spring onion.
