- 500grams pork mince
- 2 medium apple, peeled, cored and grated, divided
- 1/2 bunch sage, finely chopped
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 100grams red cabbage, shredded
- 100grams carrot, grated
- 2teaspoons wholegrain mustard
- 4tablespoons Greek yoghurt
- 1teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 4 wholemeal rolls, sliced, toasted
Description
Elevate burger night with these flavoursome and herby pork and apple burgers with a quick slaw.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Mix the pork mince, sage and half of the grated apple in a large bowl. Form into 4 thick patties with your hands.
Step 2 of 4
Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan and cook the burgers for 2-3 minutes on each side to brown. Place on a baking tray and bake for 5 minutes.
Step 3 of 4
Whisk the apple cider vinegar and mustard into the yoghurt and mix in the rest of the apple, carrot and red cabbage to make a slaw.
Step 4 of 4
Serve the burgers on toasted wholemeal rolls topped with slaw.
