- 1 ball pizza dough
- 1tablespoons plain flour, to dust
- 1 semolina, for sprinkling
- 2tablespoons passata
- 3 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 handful pitted black olives
- 1tablespoons capers, rinsed
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat the oven to its highest setting. Very lightly oil a baking tray and put it in the oven to get hot. They both need to be really hot before cooking the pizza.

Place the dough on a floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out as thin as you can - about 25-30cm in diameter. Sprinkle the hot baking tray with semolina and transfer the dough onto it.

Spoon the passata onto the pizza base, using the back of the spoon to smooth it out evenly. Top with the tomato slices, then arrange the olives and capers on top. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust and base are crisp and golden. Season with black pepper and serve.
