  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 200grams artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
  • 2tablespoons butter
  • 1teaspoons cracked black pepper
  • 8 slices bread
  • 60grams parmesan, grated

Description

These toasties are made in under 10 minutes with simple ingredients but great taste.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Heat up a large saucepan to a medium heat and add the olive oil.

Step 2 of 6

Fry the garlic and chopped artichoke hearts in the oil for 2 minutes.

Step 3 of 6

Add the butter to the pan and allow to melt for 1 minute.

Step 4 of 6

Once the butter has melted, add the spinach and cook by pressing the leaves down and tossing regularly for 2 minutes.

Step 5 of 6

Toast the sourdough slices for 3 minutes.

Step 6 of 6

Drain any excess liquid from the pan and place the spinach and artichoke mix on the bread and add pepper and parmesan before serving.
