- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1tablespoons raspberry jam
- 1/4 cup canned pie apple
- 1tablespoons pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 2tablespoons icing sugar (to serve)
- ice-cream (to serve)
Description
Try this easy dessert inspired by the clever tortilla wrap trend. This simple hack results in a flaky folded pastry filled with a delightfully sweet apple pie filling.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2 of 3
Cut pastry into a 20cm circle. Cut a slit from centre of circle to edge of pastry.
Step 3 of 3
Place jam, pie apple, pecans and blueberries separately on four quarters of the pastry, leaving a 1.5cm border around edge. Starting at one cut edge, fold and enclose onto the adjoining quarter and continue until you have a closed triangular pocket. Place on tray. Crimp edge with fork to seal. Bake for 25 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Slice into four pieces. Dust with icing sugar and serve with ice-cream.
