  • 100grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 1tablespoons powdered gelatine
  • 250grams Philadelphia original block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 300milliliter thickened cream
  • 1teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2packets Oreo original cookies, chopped
  • 3packets Cadbury Flake bars, crushed
  • 180grams Cadbury baking milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1tablespoons vegetable oil

Description

For a showstopping centrepiece or individual snackable treats, this no-bake dessert combines classic cookie favourites to create a creamy sensation.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Lightly grease and line a 20x30cm (base measurement) slice pan with baking paper, allowing paper to overhang two long opposite sides.

Step 2 of 4

To make cookie crust, process cinnamon bun cookies to fine crumbs. Add butter and process until combined. Press mixture over base of prepared pan and smooth surface. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, to make filling, dissolve gelatine in ¼ cup boiling water. Cool slightly. Beat cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in cream and gelatine mixture, then fold through 1 packet chopped original cookies and 2 crumbled bars. Pour mixture over cookie base. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight until firm.

Step 4 of 4

To make topping, place baking chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high, in 30 second-bursts, until smooth. Add oil and mix well. Spread melted chocolate over cheesecake. Top with remaining crumbled bar and remaining chopped original cookies. Refrigerate until set. To serve, use a hot dry knife to cut slice into squares.
