  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1tablespoons cornflour
  • 1/4 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup sweet sherry
  • 800grams chicken, sliced
  • 2tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1teaspoons sesame oil
  • 8 green onions, thinly sliced

Description

Quick and easy Mongolian chicken.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Combine garlic, cornflour, half the soy sauce and half the sherry in a large bowl. Add chicken, mix well.

Step 2 of 4

Heat peanut oil in wok. Stir fry chicken mixture in batches until browned.

Step 3 of 4

Return chicken to wok with sugar, sesame oil and remaining soy sauce and sherry. Stir fry until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat.

Step 4 of 4

Serve stir fry sprinkled with green onions.
