  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 200milliliter greek yoghurt (or natural)
  • 1teaspoons chilli paste, jar variety
  • 2tablespoons chick pea flour
  • 3teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tin diced tomato
  • 125grams butter
  • 2-4tablespoons honey
  • 3teaspoons fenugreek seeds
  • 200-300milliliter cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Description

A lovely butter chicken, creamy and authentic, so delicious, it's my favourite indian dish.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cut chicken into cubes and marinade with yoghurt, chilli paste, garam masala, chick pea flour and crushed garlic. Leave an hour if you can, then cook either on the BBQ, pan or grill until nicely browned.

Melt tomato with the butter

Add cream, honey, salt, pepper and fenugreek seeds. bring to the boil, then lower temperature and cook around 15 minutes until sauce thickens a little and reduces. The more you cook it the more it thickens, so it may take longer also depending on your temperature you have the pan on., If you like it sweeter, you can add more honey, it adds a lovely taste.

Step 4 of 4

Place the cooked chicken into the pan and warm through. Serve with rice and enjoy
