- 60grams butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 cups green beans, steamed (to serve)
- 1 cup green cabbage, finely sliced
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 800grams washed potatoes, peeled, chopped
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1teaspoons orange, rind, finely grated
- 1teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 4 pork midloin chops
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
Method
Step 1 of 5
Blanch cabbage in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain well. Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water for 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain and return to pan. Mash with a potato masher.

Return pan to heat, add milk and butter and stir over heat until smooth. Stir in cabbage and spring onions, season well with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large frying pan, season chops and cook in batches, for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate, cover with foil and keep warm.

Add wine to the same pan, bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute. Add cranberry sauce, mustard, orange rind and juice and simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened.

Serve pork with cabbage mash, sauce and steamed beans.
