Description
A twist on a brulee, these caramelised mango cheeks sprinkled with lime make a refreshing summer treat.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven grill to medium-high. Line a baking tray with foil.
Step 2 of 3
Cut cheeks from mangoes and place on the prepared baking tray, cut-side up. Combine sugar and ginger in a small bowl. Spoon sugar mixture over each mango cheek until covered.
Step 3 of 3
Place mango under grill and cook for 3 minutes or until sugar is golden and has caramelised. Stand for 2 minutes. Sprinkle mango with lime zest. Serve.
