  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams Heart Smart beef stir fry
  • 1/3 cup Ayam Malaysian rendang curry paste
  • 270milliliter Ayam coconut cream

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cook rice according to the absorption method on the packet. Drain.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Cook beef, in 2 batches, for 1 minute or until browned. Remove beef from pan and set aside.

Step 3 of 4

Reduce heat to medium. Add paste to pan and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.

Step 4 of 4

Add coconut cream and 1/4 cup water, then bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly. Remove pan from heat. Return beef and resting juices to pan. Stir to combine. Serve beef rendang over rice.
