- 1 1/2tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1tablespoons chilli sauce
- 1tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1teaspoons sesame oil
- 1tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 4 skinless chicken thigh fillets
- 2/3 cup cornflour
- vegetable oil
- spring onions (sliced diagonally)
- sesame seeds
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
Description

Method
Step 1 of 4
Place sauces, sugar, sesame oil and half the garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to low, then simmer for 4 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Meanwhile, combine vinegar and remaining garlic in a large bowl. Season well. Cut each chicken thigh into 3 pieces and add to bowl, mixing to coat. Place cornflour in a large, shallow bowl.

Place enough oil in a wok to come 2cm up sides of wok and heat over medium-high heat until hot. Coat 4 chicken pieces in cornflour. Shake off excess cornflour, then add chicken to wok and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Repeat twice more with remaining chicken and cornflour.

Transfer chicken to a serving dish. Drizzle over sauce mixture, then serve sprinkled with onion and sesame seeds.
