Pork Mince
  • 1/2teaspoons cornflour
  • 1teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cm piece ginger, grated
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1tablespoons soy sauce
  • 200grams pork mince
  • 1/4 cup water chestnuts, drained, sliced, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
Wonton pastry
  • 2 cup plain flour

Method

Step 1 of 3

Sift 2 cups plain flour into a large bowl. Add 1 cup boiling water, stirring until the dough forms a crumbly ball. Turn onto a floured bench and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and silky. Cover with plastic wrap and rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2 of 3

Carefully roll out the dough on a floured surface until very thin and a 40x32cm rectangle. Cut into 8cm squares or circles.

Step 3 of 3

For the mince, combine all the pork mince ingredients together in a bowl, kneading until smooth.
