  • 1 Woolworths BBQ roast chicken, meat shredded (skin and bones discarded)
  • 450grams jar of mild butter chicken simmer sauce
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 8 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 1/2 cup Greek-style yogurt
  • 1/4 cup coriander sprigs (to serve)

Description

These beautiful butter chicken pies are made in a pie-maker, which means you don't have to turn on the oven! Try this recipe today to get perfect pies every time.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place chicken in a bowl. Add simmer sauce and peas. Season with pepper. Stir until well combined.

Step 2 of 3

Preheat pie maker*. Using the large pie maker cutter, cut 2 discs from 1 pastry sheet. Using the small pie maker cutter, cut 2 discs from same pastry sheet. Repeat with a second pastry sheet.

Step 3 of 3

Place 4 large pastry rounds in pie maker holes. Spoon 1/4 cup chicken mixture into each pie base. Top with 4 small pastry rounds. Lightly press edges to seal. Close lid. Cook for 12 minutes or until pastry is golden. Repeat with remaining pastry sheets and chicken mixture to make a total of 16 pies. Serve pies with yoghurt and coriander.
