Description
Put a twist on a classic with this butter chicken skewer recipe. Ready in just 20 minutes, these skewers served with salad are great for alfresco feasting.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook rice following the absorption method on packet.
Step 2 of 4
Thinly slice chicken into strips. Place in a bowl with base sauce from butter chicken kit and stir until well combined. Thread chicken onto 8 large pre-soaked bamboo skewers. Heat a chargrill pan over medium heat. Cook chicken, turning, for 8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp vegetable oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add spices from butter chicken kit and cook for 20 seconds or until fragrant. Add main sauce from kit and cook for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly.
Step 4 of 4
Toss salad with dressing from kit in a bowl until combined. Fluff rice with a fork. Divide rice and salad among plates. Top with chicken skewers and sauce.
