- 500grams beef, shaved or sliced
- 4 medium rolls, cut in half
- 1/4 cup cheese sauce, store bought
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1teaspoons ginger, diced
- 1teaspoons chilli flakes
- 1 medium green capsicum, de-seeded and sliced
- 1 medium red capsicum, de-seeded and sliced
- 1 medium white onion, de-seeded and sliced
- 3tablespoons soy sauce
- 2tablespoons sesame oil
- 3tablespoons rice wine vinegar
Description
Meaty, cheesy, moist and packed full of spices, this delivers an Asian spin on the traditional cheesesteak.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat up a non-stick pan with the sesame oil and fry the steak strips for about 5 minutes while turning.
Step 2 of 3
Remove from the heat and set to one side. No add all the vegetables and spices to the pan and fry for 3 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
All the soy sauce and vinegar and re-introduce the meat strips. Cook this out for a further 5 minutes before serving on a floury bap with cheese sauce.
