  • 500grams salted butter
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 cup self raising flour
  • 1 cup custard powder
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • jar strawberry jam (or marmalade, or Nutella)

Method

Step 1 of 6

Allow butter to stand at room temperature to become soft before you start baking. Cream butter and sugar in a mixer until smooth.

Step 2 of 6

Add condensed milk and combine with a wooden spoon or spatula.

Step 3 of 6

Gradually add sifted flour and custard powder and combine into a dough consistency.

Step 4 of 6

Roll balls of dough between your fingers to make balls of a 10c coin sized and place on a lined baking tray.

Step 5 of 6

Poke balls with the narrow end of a wooden spoon to make a hole and fill biscuits with your favourite jam or Nutella.

Step 6 of 6

Bake in 180 degree oven for 10 mins or until they start to turn golden brown around the edges. Yields approx 100 biscuits.
