  • 4 Mighty Soft burger buns
  • 4 gherkins
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 Iceberg or cos lettuce, shredded
  • 8 slices of your favourite cheese
  • 2tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 800grams beef mince
  • Steak fries to serve
  • 1 cup Praise Deli Style Burger Sauce
  • 1 can Dole Pineapple Slices
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Method

Step 1 of 5

To make the pickled onion place the sliced onion and vinegar into a bowl, ensure vinegar covers onion and set aside while preparing the beef patties.

Step 2 of 5

Place the beef, breadcrumbs and tomato sauce in a bowl. Mix well until combined. Divide beef mixture in four and shape into patties.

Step 3 of 5

Preheat a chargrill or barbecue over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes each side or until cooked through.

Step 4 of 5

Assemble your burger; add some burger sauce to both halves of buns. Add patty, more burger sauce and 2 slices of cheese. Top with sliced gherkins, lettuce, pineapple, red onion and top bun.

Step 5 of 5

Serve with a side of fries with aioli or tomato sauce.
