  • 8 tomatos, sliced
  • 4 onions
  • 1 BBQ Spice sachet
  • 1 lettuce, shredded
  • 2tablespoons oil
  • 1 beetroot dip tub (to serve)
  • 8 Beef Burgers (approx. 1kg)
  • 8 hamburger rolls

Method

Step 1 of 6

Sprinkle spice sachet onto a plate.

Step 2 of 6

Remove burger patties from tray and brush each side lightly with some oil. Press lightly onto spice mix to coat. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Step 3 of 6

Preheat barbecue grill and hotplate on medium-high.

Step 4 of 6

Slice onions into rings and toss with remaining oil. Cook onions on hotplate, turning frequently until golden.

Step 5 of 6

Cook burger patties on grill for 4 minutes each side or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Cover with foil to keep warm.

Step 6 of 6

Split rolls and toast, if desired. Fill with lettuce, tomato, beef patty and cooked onion. Add a good dollop of beetroot dip and serve.
