- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup elderflower syrup
- 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways
- 200grams fresh blueberries
- 200grams fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 200grams fresh raspberries
- 150grams seedless grapes
- 2 oranges, segmented
Description
This fresh and citrusy fruit salad with elderflower syrup recipe pairs juicy berries with grapes and oranges, all drenched in an aromatic sauce. Perfect for quick and easy entertaining.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Combine the orange juice, elderflower syrup and vanilla pod in a saucepan and heat gently until just boiling. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool for 30 minutes.
Step 2 of 2
Put all the fruits in a bowl and mix together gently. Add the syrup mixture and leave to stand for 15 minutes. Serve in bowls with shortbread biscuits.
