  • 1 brown onion, peeled
  • 800grams chicken thigh fillets
  • 142grams korma paste
  • 400milliliter coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1tablespoons cornflour
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1/2 cup Greek-style natural yoghurt
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, leaves picked

Description

Indulge in the rich flavours of slow-cooked chicken korma. Simply add your ingredients to the slow cooker and let it do the work for you, resulting in a satisfying weeknight meal.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Using a box grater, coarsely grate onion. Combine onion, chicken, korma paste, coconut milk, tomato paste, cornflour and garlic in a slow cooker. Stir until combined. Cover with a lid and cook on ‘high’ for 4 hours or ‘low’ for 6 hours or until chicken is cooked.

Cook rice following packet instructions.

Divide rice between serving plates. Top with chicken, yoghurt and coriander. Season with freshly cracked black pepper. Serve.
