- 300grams dried spaghetti
- 1/3 bunch basil, leaves picked, large leaves coarsely torn

Description
Combine perfectly sweet cherry tomatoes, rich extra virgin olive oil and al dente pasta for an easy, appetising entertaining platter.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat half of the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add tomato and sugar and stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 15 minutes or until reduced just slightly.
Step 2 of 3
Meanwhile, cook pasta following packet instructions. Drain. Transfer to a serving platter.
Step 3 of 3
Add half of the basil to the tomato sauce. Toss gently to combine. Spoon sauce over pasta. Scatter with remaining basil. Drizzle with remaining oil. Serve immediately.
