Description

These deliciously crispy hash browns are simple to make at home and are the perfect addition to breakfast or brunch.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Grate the onion and potatoes into a bowl lined with a clean tea towel. Wring out excess liquid with the towel over the sink. Place the mix into the bowl.

Step 2 of 3

Mix in the egg and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3 of 3

Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan and place spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, flattening down with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crisp. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
