Description
Poached eggs are simple but delicious and there's no need for a complicated method to get a perfectly runny centre.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Bring a large pot of water to the boil, add the vinegar and reduce to a simmer, gently bubbling. Crack an egg into a small cup or bowl and carefully drop into the pan. Repeat with the rest of the eggs.
Step 2 of 3
Poach for 2-3 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
Step 3 of 3
Toast the bread to your liking, spread with butter and serve with eggs sprinkled with salt and pepper.
