Six simple ingredients and plenty of crunch to go around as a bed of slaw complements juicy crumbed chicken.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Place buttermilk in a large bowl. Place breadcrumbs on a large plate.
Step 2 of 4
Dip chicken in buttermilk, then press in crumbs to evenly coat. Place on a plate.
Step 3 of 4
Line the basket of a 5L air fryer with baking paper. Separating chicken into batches of smaller and larger pieces, cook chicken at 200°C for 15 minutes (smaller pieces) and 20 minutes (large pieces), or until golden-brown and cooked. Season.
Step 4 of 4
Combine coleslaw, mayonnaise and onion in a bowl. Serve chicken with coleslaw.
