  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 200grams bacon
  • 2/3tablespoons chopped chives
  • 250grams cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup cream
  • 1packets wonton wrappers

Description

Mini cob loaf bites.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Line baking tray and heat oven to 180°c.

Step 2 of 5

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and bacon. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until bacon is browned and onion has softened. Remove from heat.

Step 3 of 5

Add chives to bacon mixture. Stir in creamed cheese. Mix until combined. Add cream, sour cream and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4 of 5

Seperate wonton wrappers and add 1- 1 1/2 tbs of cheese mix to middle of wonton wrapper. With a pastry brush lightly wet the edges of the wrapper and Fold each side to the middle pinching to seal together. Repeat until all the cheese mix is finished.

Step 5 of 5

Mix egg and milk together and with a pastry brush paint the tops of the wontons. Bake for 15-20 mins till brown.
