  • 1tablespoons tabasco sauce (to taste)

Purée 1 large ripe avocado with 100g cream cheese, 1 garlic clove, 1 tbsp olive oil, grated zest of 1 lemon, juice of 1/2 lemon, salt, and Tabasco sauce to taste in a blender or food processor. Spoon on top of the crostini and garnish with finely chopped chives and a strip of lemon or zest or 1/2 roasted cherry tomato. You can replace the grated lemon zest and juice with lime and omit the Tabasco if you prefer.
