- 50grams dark sugar
- 1 medium vanilla bean, split lengthways
- 1teaspoons chilli flakes
- 2tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2tablespoons water

Description
These pickled cherries are a tangy and sweet addition to any dessert.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Boil a suitable and sealable glass container to sterilise and then allow to cool. In a pot, all ingredients and bring to the boil.
Step 2 of 3
Lower the heat and then allow to simmer until the sugar has melted completely and the liquid reduces slightly.
Step 3 of 3
Now remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. Empty contents into your storage jar and keep in the fridge.
