  • 500grams bacon
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 1teaspoons wholegrain mustard
  • 2tablespoons honey
  • 1tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 16 chunks
  • 1 cup crudites (to serve)

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cut the bacon or gammon into 24 chunky pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a heavy-based frying pan and cook the bacon or gammon pieces over a medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden in places. Add the honey and parsley and toss to coat the ham pieces. Keep warm.

Step 2 of 3

In a separate frying pan, heat the remaining oil and cook the pineapple chunks over a high heat for 4-5 minutes until golden and hot.

Step 3 of 3

Thread 3 chunks of ham and 2 chunks of pineapple on to 8 small bamboo skewers and serve with crudites.
