  • 35grams sesame seeds
  • 1teaspoons vanilla
  • 1tablespoons cinnamon
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt

Description

This granola has no added sugar, is naturally sweetened with cinnamon and gets its crunch from egg whites.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Pre-heat the oven to 110°C/90°C fan-forced and line two large baking trays with parchment.

Step 2 of 5

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl and add the vanilla.

Step 3 of 5

Beat the egg whites in a large bowl with a whisk or handheld mixer to form soft peaks.

Step 4 of 5

Fold the egg whites gently into the oat mix until well coated.

Step 5 of 5

Tip the mixture on to the baking trays and spread out to form thin layers. Bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes.
