  • 110grams coconut oil (save 10g for greasing)
  • 90grams blackstrap molasses
  • 20grams dark muscovado sugar
  • 25grams agave syrup
  • 250grams rolled oats
  • 50grams pecan nuts, roughly chopped
  • 50grams cocoa nibs
  • 1 orange, finely grated rind

Method

Step 1 of 5

Grease an 18 cm (7 inch) square tin.

Step 2 of 5

In a large saucepan melt together the coconut oil, molasses, sugar and agave syrup, until the sugar has dissolved.

Step 3 of 5

Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Step 4 of 5

Pour into the prepared tin and level the top.

Step 5 of 5

Bake in a preheated oven, 180°C, Gas Mark 4, for 18-20 minutes, then remove from the oven and cut into 12 squares. Leave to cool in the tin.
