Description

Making your own granola ensures it’s packed with your favourite ingredients.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place the oats, seeds, and nuts in a large deep-sided frying pan. Heat over a medium heat, stirring frequently, for 3-5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Tip onto a baking tray and set aside.

Step 2 of 4

Heat the oil, honey, and syrup in the frying pan until melted and well combined. Return the toasted oats, seeds, and nuts to the pan and heat for a further 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until warmed through and evenly coated.

Step 3 of 4

Mix together the berries, cherries, and coconut, add to the pan, and combine well.

Step 4 of 4

Tip the mixture onto the baking tray, spread it out, and leave to cool completely. When cold, break the granola into small pieces and transfer to an airtight container. To serve, layer Greek yoghurt and granola into four glass dishes. Alternatively, serve with milk.
