- 100grams cashews, ground
- 1/3teaspoons cinnamon (for baste)
- 1 egg, beaten (for baste)

Description
Filled with chocolate-hazelnut spread, this simple dessert is a fun and festive addition to any Christmas spread.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Cut puff pastry into two triangle shapes. Cover one side with Nutella and ground cashews (or chopped nut on your choice) Add other triangle pastry sheet on top. Cut slits into the sides of the triangle and twist each to create branches. (see image). Place tree on a tray with baking paper.
Step 2 of 3
Baste with beaten egg (added cinnamon for flavour). Cook in hot oven - 220 C for 15 - 18 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
Take out and cool. Add hundreds and thousands or small chocolate decorations as baubles. Serve by twisting off branch to eat.
