  • 4 sheet frozen puff pastry, just thawed
  • 1/3 cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 egg yolk, whisked with 1 tbs water
  • 1/3 cup caramelised onion jam

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 220°C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.

Step 2 of 4

Lay a sheet of pastry onto a clean bench top. Brush with egg. Spread with half the onion jam. Sprinkle with half the parmesan. Lay a second sheet on top and press down firmly.

Step 3 of 4

Roll up firmly. Cut into 2cm-thick slices and lay, cut-side up, on tray. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Step 4 of 4

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
