- 1tablespoons Woolies table spread
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3teaspoons salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup creamed corn
- 2 1/3 cups Woolies salt recduced Flour
Description
A quick and easy favourite afternoon tea that always pleases. They also freeze well, if there's any left!
Method
Step 1 of 7
Preheat fan forced oven to 200C.
Step 2 of 7
Mix table spread, sugar and salt together in dish.
Step 3 of 7
Add egg and stir in followed by the creamed corn and blend together.
Step 4 of 7
Sift in SR flour and mix together.
Step 5 of 7
Turn out onto floured bench top or board and lightly knead with a little extra flour and then pat out with hands til about a good inch thick and cut into shapes with a knife.
Step 6 of 7
Place on baking paper on a oven slide and bake for approx. 12/15 minutes in preheated oven.
Step 7 of 7
Take out of oven and cool on wire rack. Enjoy!
