- 1 handful flour
- 2teaspoons cinnamon sugar
Description
Delicious and beautiful.
Method
Step 1 of 9
Leave the frozen pastry sheets out for about 5 minutes to defrost, then place on a flour covered surface.
Step 2 of 9
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 3 of 9
Slice apple very finely.
Step 4 of 9
Boil water in saucepan. When boiling, add apple and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes until almost falling apart.
Step 5 of 9
Slice each pastry sheet lengthways in 4, so as to have 12 strips of pastry.
Step 6 of 9
Spread the strawberry jam over each strip of pastry, and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the top.
Step 7 of 9
Drain the apple, then place the slices along the top half of each strip of pastry. The longest part of the slice should be in the middle of the pastry, with the semicircular side protruding over the top. Then fold the pastry in half so that the top of the apple still protrudes over.
Step 8 of 9
Starting from the left, roll each strip of pastry and put straight in a muffin patty pan.
Step 9 of 9
Put each of the pastries in their patty pans into a muffin tray and bake in the oven on the lowest shelf for 30-40 minutes, until the top is brown.
