  • 1/2 cup thickened cream (to serve)
  • 2 sheet puff pastry , just thawed
  • 60grams butter
  • 2 large Packham pears, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
  • 1/2teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2tablespoons honey
  • 100grams walnuts

Method

Step 1 of 8

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Step 2 of 8

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 3 of 8

Cut each sheet of pastry into 4 squares.

Step 4 of 8

Place 4 squares onto baking tray and top with the remaining 4 squares.

Step 5 of 8

Heat butter in a frying pan. Add cinnamon and walnuts and toss until walnuts are golden. Remove from pan.

Step 6 of 8

Add pear wedges and fry until tender and golden.

Step 7 of 8

Arrange pear slices and walnuts on the pastry squares and drizzle with honey. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden.

Step 8 of 8

Serve with a dollop of thickened cream.
