A deliciously sweet and chewy filling in a pastry crust - a classic treat
Method
Step 1 of 4
Pre-heat the oven to 170°C/150°C fan-forced. In a bowl, combine the jam with the crushed nuts and leave to one side.
Step 2 of 4
Line a cupcake baking tin with some butter. Roll out your pastry and cut out 6 circles big enough to cover the base and edges of the cupcake tin.
Step 3 of 4
Equally share the jam mix into each pastry. You will have some pastry leftover which you can use to either cover the tarts or cut into stars and place on top of the jam.
Step 4 of 4
Bake the tarts in the oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool and serve with icing sugar to garnish on top.
