- 350grams dates, soft, pitted, chopped
- 50grams coconut oil
- 40grams cocoa powder
- 1teaspoons vanilla extract
- 15grams flax seeds

Description
Cocoa powder makes these raw fruit and nut bars chocolatey and delicious.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat a dry pan on medium heat and toast the hazelnuts for 2-3 minutes, tossing often to ensure they don't burn. Tip into a food processor with the Brazil nuts and blitz to a coarse mix. Tip into a bowl.
Step 2 of 3
Add the dates to the food processor and pulse until smooth. Add the coconut oil, cocoa and vanilla and blitz until incorporated. Tip in the seeds and nuts and pulse until just combined.
Step 3 of 3
Line a baking tin with parchment paper and spoon the mix in, pressing down with the back of a spoon to form an even layer. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to set, then slice into 15 bars.
