  • 800grams chocolate frosting
  • 180grams dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 125grams raspberries

Description

Use two Woolworths chocolate mud cakes to make this deliciously simple (and moreish) raspberry-topped dessert.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place cakes, icing-side up, on a large plate or board. Spoon 3/4 cup frosting on top of one cake and, using a spatula, evenly spread to cover top. Sandwich with remaining cake, icing-side down, gently pushing down to level cake.

Step 2 of 4

Cover top and side of cake with remaining frosting. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, line a baking tray with baking paper. Place chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring halfway through with a metal spoon, or until chocolate is melted and smooth. Spread chocolate over prepared tray. Set aside for 30 minutes or until set. Using a large sharp knife, cut into large pieces.

Step 4 of 4

Decorate top of cake with chocolate bark and raspberries. Serve.
