  • 1tablespoons honey

Description

Forget beans on toast, smoky chickpeas on toast is a tasty twist on a classic comfort food dish.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat the oil in a pan and cook the onion for 5 minutes. Add the chickpeas and smoked paprika and cook for 1 minute.

Step 2 of 3

Pour in the passata, honey and vinegar. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Toast the sourdough to your liking and pile chickpeas on top of each slice.
