- 1 medium lemon, juice and zest
- 1 medium egg
- 100grams breadcrumbs
- 1 small red onion, peeled, 1/2 sliced into rounds & 1/2 diced
- 1teaspoons garam masala
- 1/2 bunch coriander, fresh
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 4 wholemeal buns, sliced in half
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 medium cucumber, sliced

Description
These quick falafel burgers are perfect for an easy lunch or dinner.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Add the chickpeas, lemon juice and zest, egg, breadcrumbs, diced onion and garam masala to a food processor with half of the coriander. Blitz to a paste.
Step 2 of 3
Use your hands to form 4 patties and chill for 10 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
Heat the oil in a non stick pan on medium heat and cook the burgers for 4 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with tomato, onion and cucumber and yoghurt if desired.
